To me, this is the hardest (no pun intended) most physically demanding job in the entire industry.

Not only do you have to get it up, get it in and get it off when told to do so, butt you often times have to do it under very strenuous circumstances…i.e. in muscle-cramping positions, on very uncomfortable surfaces or even with women that you're not very attracted to.  1 Shoes and clothing are important despite the fact that you take most of it off.

Every customer has different taste in women and appealing to that taste is the only way to really keep the customer for more dances. There are three major looks that are normally found in the club: a)Outfits that are fun and flirty, often times pink or fun bright colors. A cute pink bikini with a strawberry pattern and pretty clips in your hair can be adorable, lollipops and rainbow leg warmers are ridiculous. Lace and flowing fabrics are ultra sexy and can make a dancer of any age look unbelievably gorgeous. Spins around the pole and even just walking is accentuated by the flow of fabric allowing the dance to seem more fluid and sensual. 2) Your Social Skills

Engaging a customer in a polite, light-weight conversation before asking them to dance increases your chances that they will, in fact, spend money on you. It's really no different than meeting anyone else in a business situation. Ask them how they are and if they are enjoying themselves BUT stay away from questions such as:

"Are you married?" (it may just remind them they have a wife and that they should leave)

"What do you do?" (Some people don't see this as a rude question but when propositioning someone to give you money you shouldn't pry especially since most people hate their jobs. The only way I would ask this question was if the gentleman said he was visiting on business.)

"Will you buy me a drink?" (Come on now! You know better than that! Only take what is offered in this situation because the gentleman can be offended by how rude you are and decide not to take you for a dance. If you ever ask this be assured you just traded a cocktail for 3-4 dances in the backroom. Good job, moron.)

"Do you have children?" (Let's face it... his daughter is probably your age, don't remind him. If he does bring children into the conversation remember to keep it light and polite.)

Remember, you can ask every customer in the room to take you for a dance and one or two might actually take you for a song but if you put the extra effort into a five minute conversation the gentleman will be more inclined to spend more time with you. It is not unusal for a gentleman to relate to you personnally, like your spirit, and pay for an hour up front. CH-CHING!

3) Not every customer is a saint sitting on a wad of cash.

It's common for men to agree to go for dances without having enough money for it, understand the rate at which they are billed, or to expect more than what is legally possible. I'm not sure if it's the fact that it is in an establishment of intoxication or just because they're men but being ripped off happens more than you would expect. There are specific steps to ensuring this doesn't happen to you.

a) Make sure the customer is coherent and visably semi-sober.

b) Explain how you will be paid per song.

c) Explain to him the rules of touching and if propositioned for "extra attention" politely let them know that it is illegal and you are a law abiding citizen.

d) after every song ask them if he would like you to continue. I find a lot of girls will keep going if the client doesn't say anything and ultimately end up dancing a lot longer than the customer can afford. This ends in wasted time because the customer will refuse to pay, bouncers will become involved, and every one becomes upset. This will also tarnish your reputation if customers claim you ripped them off infront of other potential clients.

e) it is a good idea to offer dances for a good price should he buy half an hour of your time. It's almost like buying in bulk but inreality, there is less of a chance of being ripped off if you get the money up front and instead of the average 2-4 dances, you get an entire half an hour. I know of girls in clubs that charge $20 a dance but will offer a good rate of $160 for half an hour instead of $200. You will find you can make more money despite losing $40 since it would take an average of two songs before another client comes along AND you convince the man to spend more than he originally would have.

4) There are a lot of strange personalities out there and you will meet them all.

So far, in my mere three years of work, I have seen so many odd people and witnessed so many strange behaviours. IT SERIOUSLY BLOWS MY MIND EVEN TO THIS DAY. There is no getting used to some of the requests from clients. Now, because I'm worried about you going out there without being aware of this, I'm going to let you know what kind of freaks are going to approach you.

a) The cryer. Maybe his wife just left him, he's lonely, or is getting shipped off to Iraq in the morning. Who knows! He's just looking for a little comfort in the company of a beautiful lady and then, mid-dance, he starts bawling his eyes out, clinging to you for support and making you at a loss for words. Don't worry, remind him he's still on the clock and console the poor dear because these guys will pay for your time as well as tip a bit extra not to tell anyone.

b) The Radio Operator Did you ever have a boyfriend way back in junior high that had no idea what he was suppose to do with nipples and sat there tweaking them like he's tuning a radio? Some of those boys never grow out of it. I'M SERIOUS! Grown men going to town on your nipples like they're popping pimples. All you can do is politely remind them that it hurts because yes, believe or not, they are attached to you. 6) Other dancers are competition.

 You are competing against other women for the gentlemen's attention but it's important to keep an air of tact and manners about you. Let the other girls be catty, gossip, and be lewd while you ignore them and do your job while keeping the appearance of being lady-like. If you keep your head down, work, and generally keep to your self when it comes to other staff you're going to bank much more than the others. All of this is just a distraction from the unsurmountable amount of money you could be making.   

7) You can establish a regular clientel.

 The easiest way is to become familar with faces, realize which regulars take girls for dances (because not all of them will), and then befriend them. When performing in front of a camera, LIGHTING IS EVERYTHING. Ask any photographer. You are capturing LIGHT. Having good light, will make the average camera look alot better.

Not to mention, you will look better on cam. We usually set up 2 lamps like the ones below with 5 (40-60) watt bulbs each arrayed in front of you. Now you dont need to have all this light, just make sure you have bright light directed to the front of you, preferrably from both sides for the greatest results.

Internet 

This obviously depends on where you perform.. Depending on where you live may help or hurt your abiliy to get fast internet connection speeds. Our systems works well with all types of broadband connections (DSL, Cable, ISDN, 3G / 4G Wireless Mobile, Aircards, etc).
The best and most consistent connection speeds for video streaming from your webcam is Cable modem and Dsl. Cable internet services are usually offered by Comcast and Time Warner Cable (Road Runner), to name a couple. Dsl services are usually offered by At&t and Verizon.

3G / 4G connection speeds often work well also. Just make sure with 3G and 4G Wireless connections you get an unlimited plan so you don't have to worry about overages, just one flat rate. (services usually offered by your cell phone carrier) We usually find T-mobile to have the nicest data plan deals for unlimited wireless connections.

 

Webcams

Our system is very user-friendly and works with both Mac and PC. There's nothing needed to be downloaded or installed to webchat on our network (just Simply plug n play). Our system works with most webcams. Anything Logitech, HP, dynex, built-in laptop webcams, etc. would work very well with our system. But there's a few that works alot better than others - And it shows in the pocket book.

Here we'll list a few webcams to use if you're going out to buy a webcam and you want to MAKE SURE that it will work well for you. All of these have good enough video quality and features to work on our network. The only difference is the price range and extra features, quality that are listed below each item.

Bottom Line - Here's the basic features you want to have on your webcam: You want to have at least 640 x 480 (vga) video resolution and built-in microphone for sound. You may also want to spend around $40 to $50 bucks and get HD (720p) along with zoom (helps members see clearer and closer). Cams without zoom , you can just pick up webcam and bring it closer to you if needed.

 

As you can see, the Logitech C910 HD Webcam, and the Logitech 9000 Pro are the total packages as they work very well with our software. But really you can't go wrong with the Dynex webcam for around $30, and the Logitech c260 for around $40 until you get a couple checks. In the long run, you would want to invest in a cam thats around $60 to $80 at least as most of those cams have great features for both, photo / video image quality as well as the superior sound quality.

Any webcams above $100 simply wouldn't really be needed as these cams would be plenty. Let us know if you needed help picking a webcam and we'll be sure to help.

These documents are usually needed in the form of a .jpeg image file. Examples of these are a photo ID, signed model contract, and a 2257 model release form. These forms are almost always provided for you by the studios.

 

Research a company that is hiring. Most webcam studios will always be hiring but sending them an email will confirm this.

 

Look closely for how much the studio is willing to pay. You will find a number of studios that will pay you just 30% of your earnings - look for places that offer 40% or higher. This may seem low but 25-35% is an industry standard. The greater majority of the earnings stay with the studios to help pay for marketing and credit card fees.

PREPARATIONS

Be friendly
The number one rule is to be friendly to the customers in the free area. Say “hi”, call them by name and interact with them. Make small talk. No one wants to feel ignored. You only get one chance at a first impression, so make it a good one!

Focus
Free yourself of distractions when in guest chat, don’t watch TV or listen to loud music in the free area. There is nothing exciting about watching someone that looks bored. Smile, flirt, maybe do a little spin. Look alive and happy to be there!

Schedule
Try to work an consistent schedule. Even if you can't stick to it 100%, still try. At first you want to try out and see what's best for you especially if you work at home. The more time on line, the more your list of regulars will grow! You also get valuable experience and learn the nuances of the position more and more. Good Lighting

You convert at a much higher rate if the client believes they will be able to see everything. Try and get rid of dark shadows. Make sure proper lighting is put in front of you on both sides and in front of you. Use Audio/Sound
Let your customers hear your voice. Your voice will make their experience better, and make their experience even more real! Remember, It's not all about your body and being physical. It helps you convert more private chats and makes your private chats go longer once you're there.

Get To Know Your Customers
Get to know your customers and remember them, it will make them feel special! You'll notice the same people almost everyday coming to the site just for you. You may want to remember them to. Kick vs Ban
If someone is giving you a hard time, give a verbal warning. If they continue to bother you kick them out of your room. If they come back and continue to bother you, then pursue banning them.

Be cautious, in the end we are concerned about your security. Do not call them! No matter what. Do not give out your personal contact information. Do not give out emails, IMs, skype, mailing address, websites, etc.

Upgrade Your Equipment
If you need to, Upgrade your equipment once you've gotten comfortable. The better your computer equipment and the faster your internet connection, the better your video stream will be.

QUALITY CONTROL

Now it's time to talk about the scene where you'll be performing and how you should present the room. We've already covered the importance of good, bright lighting in your room. Having a neat room is also very important. You want to have a neat / clean area. No kids, no animals, clutter, trash, food, etc..

Stand back and really look from your camera's point of view.  We took a look around at the girls who have been winning all the big bonuses every pay period. These (photo up above) are a good example of what you could expect a good web cam room to look like. .

Cameras are all centered to focus on them, The rooms are neat, clean, etc.. The all have sexy outfits and neat appearances.
